I got this order because there was a framing shop near my work. A man came to them with a painting in disrepair. According to his story, he was given it as a gift to help him with his treatment (he was a doctor). Since he was leaving by plane, he had to fold the painting so it would fit in the suitcase. Of course, this kind of carrying it could not withstand and it cracked. In some places the paint had begun to crumble. And now it was time to restore it. Of course, he was not ready to spend money on a professional restoration, so we agreed on N. And I set about restoring it. At that time I was especially interested in the nuances of restoration. The knowledge helped me a lot. I was given a week, which of course is not much. Especially for my first experience. But in my opinion I did pretty well. I think I could take on another job like that.
