Mediums for oil painting.
When we talk about mediums, it is important to consider things like the degree of transparency and density. Because of this, different diluents give the color an effect:
🔺 fluidity / pastiness
🔺 glossy / matt
🔺 color tone.
Time is a very important resource, so my chart with specific drying times of 10 mediums will help you choose the most suitable one.
P. S. It’s worth keeping in mind that each color of oil paint dries differently, which means the time may diverge, but not by much.
